Side events provide the opportunity for host organizations to launch initiatives, projects or programmes, and products or services; organize panel discussions on specific desired topics and showcase professional networks and associations. Organizations or individuals interested in hosting side events are requested to familiarize themselves with the rules below and also to complete the application form.
The side events will be accommodated all through the conference days during lunch breaks 12:30 – 13:30hrs and after main sessions 17:30 -17:30hrs.
Rooms with over 150 seating capacity will be provided for the organization of the side events.
Organizers will be charged subsidized rates for hosting side events:
Availability to host the event is on a first come first served basis
AMCOW’s Secretariat is the ultimate decision maker for granting permission for a side event.
Any additional costs for catering or interpretation/ translation, will be borne by the applicant. For catering requests please contact Kande.
Organizers of side events are free to develop programmes and formats for their planned events.
